Long Hair Don't Care Tour – UK Segment – November 12-20, 2017
Okay, so the tour is over, but boy, so many amazing moments to reflect on.
I never made it to any of the European dates this time but by all accounts they were fantastic and everyone that I have spoken with who attended said the same thing, The Cadillac Three were on fire.
Having toured Canada before flying directly to Europe had given the band that tightness that only regular playing together can bring, and with each passing show they just got better and better.
I was fortunate enough to attend most of the UK mainland shows, only skipping Manchester, and I was blown away by the intensity of the crowds and support at each venue. Obviously the larger venues meant a larger crowd, but still it was constant, every night the atmosphere was amazing, and every night the band raised the bar.
For the UK they had support from Brothers Osborne who are growing in stature in the States but this was their first run of shows in the UK, and they leave after this tour making many new fans, as each night they wowed the crowds with their Country Rock. They are back with a headline tour in May and I strongly advise you go, it's gonna be great.
Whether having Brothers Osborne performing every night to such a high standard made the boys up their game who knows? But the truth is they did, and every show from start to finish was a rollercoaster of TC3 magic.
Jaren was born to be a front man. His charisma and charm wowed audiences up and down the country, and with Neil and Kelby ably holding their own in conducting the crowds, we have in front of us one of the best live bands on the planet right now. I may be a little biased but this is fact.
The musicianship is second to none, and the song writing is truthful and lived, making it personal to everyone that sang every word to every song at every show.
We were treated to songs from all three albums with the newer songs being treated the same as the more familiar ones with everyone singing along. The crowds were treated each night to a master class in 'Country Fuzz' or whatever genre you try and pigeonhole these guys under. All I know is that it is just great music performed by a great band in front of thousands of very happy fans.
I met lots of old friends along the way and made some new ones, and that sums up my TC3 experience really. We are all one big family supporting a great band we all love, and I for one can't wait to do it all again next year.
Thank you to The Cadillac Three, and thank you to all you TC3 Drinking Club members. ✊
